To control and regulate cybercrime on social media, the federal government created the National Cybercrime Investigation NCCI Agency.

Ordinance issued

The agency will operate under the PICA Law
Dg Cyber Crime Agency will have the powers of IG Police.
FIA will no longer be able to investigate cyber crime
NCCI will have its own locks
NCCI will have its own force for suspects involved in cyber crime
