As per the Daily Dunya newspaper dated 04-06-2023, there are Three Attractive Salary Packages BPS-01 to BPS-22 Employees Budget 2023-24 Proposals. As per the news, the employees may get a 20%, 30%, or even 50% increase in salary in the Budget 2023-2024. In addition to that the Government employees of Pakistan may get an increase in Medical Allowance and Conveyance Allowance @ 100% of their existing CA and Medical Allowance. They may also get an enhancement in HRA and an Increase in the Rental Ceiling for Hiring Accommodation. The pensioners may have an increase @ 20% of their existing pension.
News Regarding Three Salary Increase Packages in Budget 2023-24
As per the news, Finance Minister is working on making a budget and its proper allocation as per need departments. The finance will be allocated on the basis of the financial condition of the country and the pressure of inflation. The cabinet also suggests increasing the 20% pension of all retired government servants. The pensioners also need relief.
In the latest cabinet meeting, all members suggested an increase in all Ad hoc relief allowances for government servants. All members suggest an increase in allowances for officers of all grades. Final approval will be announced on 9th June 2023.
News of Budget 2023, Increase of20%, 30%, 50% in Medical /Travelling/Hiring Allowances
As per requests and demands of all government servant’s cabinet again called a meeting to discuss the budget 2023. Different suggestions were given about an increase in salaries and allowances. The final proposal is about to give relief of 20%,30%, 50% increase for all Government servants and 20% increase for pensioners.
Types of Ad hoc Allowances
The cabinet suggests an increase in the following Ad hoc allowances:
- Hiring Allowance
- Ad hoc Allowance
- Traveling/Conveyance Allowance
- Medical Allowance
Proposed Packages of Increase in Ad hoc Allowance
The cabinet proposed to increase all three allowances to make the budget more attractive:
- 20% increase in Ad hoc Allowances
- 30% increase in Ad hoc Allowances
- 50% increase in Ad hoc Allowances
- 100% increase in Medical Allowance
- 100% increase in Conveyance Allowance
- 20% increase in Pensions

Keeping in view the financial conditions of the country Ministry is still working on the budget. They have also increased the working hours and are trying to make the best allocation for the employees and pensioners. They are working to provide relief to all government servants suffering from the pressure of inflation.
