Standing Order for Selection of ASIs in Balochistan Police from Graduate Constables / Head Constables (2025)

Introduction:

The Government of Balochistan has issued a standing order outlining the selection procedure for Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs) from amongst graduate Head Constables and Constables through the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC). This policy is pursuant to Article 7(3) of the Police Order 2002.

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process:

3	Eligibility	a) Head Constables: Graduate or above b) Constables: Graduate or above with at least 3 years of service c) Should not be involved in any act of moral turpitude or grave misconduct d) Must not have availed more than three chances
4	Fitness	a) Must meet physical standards b) Must be medically fit
5	Syllabus	a) Police Rules (Lower School Course level) b) Law and Police Practical Work (Recruit Course level) c) English Essay, English Grammar, Urdu Essay (Graduate level) d) Viva Voce

Scrutiny Committee:

All eligible cases forwarded by Regional DIGs/Unit Heads will be scrutinized by a special committee at Police Headquarters Quetta comprising:

1. DIG Police Headquarters, Quetta (Chair)
2. DIG Police Investigation, Balochistan
3. AIG Police Establishment, Quetta (Member-Secretary)

Conclusion:

This recruitment initiative aims to strengthen the internal career progression for capable police personnel and ensure transparency in the selection of ASIs. Eligible graduates in the police force are encouraged to apply through their respective units.

تعارف:

حکومت بلوچستان نے ایک اسٹینڈنگ آرڈر جاری کیا ہے جس میں بلوچستان پولیس میں گریجویٹ ہیڈ کانسٹیبلز اور کانسٹیبلز کو براہ راست اسسٹنٹ سب انسپکٹر (ASI) کے طور پر بھرتی کرنے کا طریقہ کار بیان کیا گیا ہے۔ یہ بھرتی بلوچستان پبلک سروس کمیشن (BPSC) کے ذریعے پولیس آرڈر 2002 کی شق 7(3) کے تحت کی جائے گی۔

اہلیت اور طریقہ کار:

1	کوٹہ	منظور شدہ کل اسامیوں کا 25% محکمانہ پروموشن کے لیے مختص ہوگا۔
2	عمر کی حد	زیادہ سے زیادہ 35 سال (BPSC کی مقررہ آخری تاریخ تک)
3	اہلیت	a) ہیڈ کانسٹیبل: گریجویٹ یا اس سے زائد b) کانسٹیبل: کم از کم 3 سالہ سروس کے ساتھ گریجویٹ c) اخلاقی بدعنوانی یا سنگین خلاف ورزی میں ملوث نہ رہا ہو d) تین سے زیادہ مواقع استعمال نہ کیے ہوں
4	فٹنس	a) جسمانی معیار کے مطابق ہو b) طبی طور پر فٹ ہو
5	نصاب	a) پولیس قواعد (لوئر اسکول کورس کی سطح) b) قانون و پولیس پریکٹیکل (ریکروٹ کورس کی سطح) c) انگریزی مضمون، انگلش گرامر، اردو مضمون (گریجویٹ سطح) d) زبانی امتحان (Viva Voce)

سکرونٹی کمیٹی:

تمام امیدواروں کی درخواستیں ریجنل DIG یا متعلقہ یونٹ ہیڈ کی سفارش پر ہیڈکوارٹر کو بھیجی جائیں گی، جہاں مندرجہ ذیل افسران پر مشتمل کمیٹی ان کی جانچ کرے گی:

1. DIG پولیس ہیڈکوارٹر، کوئٹہ (چیئر)
2. DIG پولیس انویسٹیگیشن، بلوچستان
3. AIG پولیس اسٹیبلشمنٹ، کوئٹہ (ممبر/سیکریٹری)

یہ اسٹینڈنگ آرڈر بلوچستان پولیس میں میرٹ اور قابلیت پر مبنی ترقی کو یقینی بنانے کی کوشش ہے۔ اہل افسران اپنی یونٹ کے ذریعے درخواست جمع کروا سکتے ہیں۔
