The position conveyed vide letter referred above has been considered and apprised that as per policy instructions issued by Ministry with the approval of Secretary/Chairman Railways (BPS- 1 to 22) officials /officers of Railways are eligible to avail the hiring facility at six specified stations namely, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta as per their entitlement with condition that hired house shall be allotted at the placed /station of posting of the employee.
- In view of above the request of the officer regarding extension in house requisition at Lahore whereas, he is posted at Karachi not covered under the poll instruction issued by this Ministry & Ministry of Housing & Works.
مذکورہ بالا خط کے اوپر مذکورہ پوزیشن پر غور کیا گیا ہے اور بتایا گیا ہے کہ وزارت کی طرف سے سکریٹری / چیئرمین ریلوے (بی پی ایس – 1 سے 22) کی منظوری سے جاری کردہ پالیسی ہدایات کے مطابق ریلوے کے عہدیدار / افسران چھ کی خدمات حاصل کرنے کے اہل ہیں۔ اسٹیشنوں یعنی اسلام آباد ، راولپنڈی ، لاہور ، کراچی ، پشاور اور کوئٹہ ان کے حقدار کے مطابق اس شرط کے ساتھ کہ ملازمین کی پوسٹنگ کے مقام / اسٹیشن پر کرایہ پر مکان الاٹ کیا جائے گا۔
لاہور میں مکانات کی طلب میں توسیع سے متعلق افسر کی درخواست کے پیش نظر جبکہ وہ کراچی میں تعینات ہے جو اس وزارت اور وزارت ہاؤسنگ اینڈ ورکس کی جاری کردہ رائے شماری کی ہدایت کے تحت نہیں ہے۔
