Government of the Punjab, Services and General Administration Department (Regulations Wing) issued a Notification on 07-02-2023 in connection with Revised Recruitment and Promotion Rules 2023 Junior Clerk BPS-11. The details are as under:

In exercise of the powers conferred under section 23 of the Punjab civil servants act 1974 (VIII of 1974) and in supersession of notification bearing No. SOR-III-2-28/90 dated 25.05.1993, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to direct that notwithstanding the method of recruitment to the post of Junior Clerk (BS-11). As prescribed in the respective service/requirement rules of various departments in Punjab, twenty percent of posts of Junior Clerks BS-11 shall be filled in by promotion from among the employees of all categories from BS-1 to BS-8, employed in respective office/department/functional unit, who are otherwise eligible for appointment to the post. if none is available for promotion then by initial recruitment.

9. All divisional commissioners in Punjab.
10. All deputy commissioners in Punjab.
11. The secretary provincial assembly, Punjab
12. All heads of attached departments in Punjab.
13. All heads of autonomous bodies in Punjab.
14. The secretary, Punjab public service commission, Lahore.
15. The secretary ombudsman, Punjab Lahore
16. The security ombudsperson, Punjab, Lahore.
17. The registrar, Punjab service tribunal, Lahore
18. All additional secretaries, deputy secretaries & section officers in S&DAD
19. The accountant general, Punjab, Lahore.
20. The PSO to Chief Secretary, Punjab.
21. The PSO to additional chief secretary , Punjab
22. Aalll district accounts officer in Punjab.
23. The section officer (PP&CM), regulation / O&M Wing, S&GA Department Lahore with the request to upload the said notification on the official website of the regulation wing, S&DAD.
