New Division in Punjab Gujrat with three Districts Gujrat, M Bahauddin and Hafizabad | Government of the Punjab Revenue Department | August 17, 2022

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him under section 5 of the Punjab land revenue act, 1967 (west Pakistan act XVII of 1967) and in supersession of all previous notification/orders on this behalf, to the extent of Gujrat Division, the governor of Punjab is pleased to order that Division specified in Column 01 of the following schedule with headquarter specified in column 02 will comprise of Districts mentioned in column 03 with immediate effect:

After including this fresh Division Gujrat, now the Punjab province has the following total of 10 Divisions in Punjab:

Previous Structure of Gujranwala Division

Previously these three districts, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, and Hafizabad were included in Gujranwala Division. The structure of the Gujranwala Division was as under:

• Gujrat
• Norowal
• Mandi Bahauddin.
• Hafizabad
• Sialkot
• Gujranwala

Now Gujranwala Division will have only three Districts:

• Norowal
• Sialkot
• Gujranwala
