Notification | Amendments in the Revised Leave Rules 1981| Government of the Punjab Finance Department | March 12, 2021
In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 23 of the Punjab Civil Servants Act, 1974 (VIII of 1974), the Governor of Punjab is pleased to make the following amendments in the Revised Leave Rules, 1981 with immediate effect:
Amendments
In the Revised Leave Rules, 1981:
1. In rule 17:
a. Heading, the word “refused” shall be omitted:
b. In sub-rule (1), the words “for the leave refused to him” shall be omitted;
c. In sub-rule (2). the words “refused partly and’ and” of such leave so refused” shall be omitted;
d. Sub-rule (3), words in lieu of such refused LPR” and “for the period of leave so refused” shall be omitted; and
2. After -rule 36, the following shall be inserted:
“37. Relaxation of Rules.- The chief Minister may relax any of the rules on the basis of the reasons beyond the control of a civil servant”.
